Business Data Analyst

Web Sky Star is a rapidly growing platform providing insights on Tech, Finance, Investment, AI, Tax, Banking, and Real Estate. We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive our content strategy and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources including website analytics, content performance, and user behavior.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights in tech and finance content performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports to the team.
• Collaborate with content writers, SEO specialists, and management to support data-driven decisions.
• Perform A/B testing and statistical analysis to optimize content and user engagement.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with privacy standards.
• Automate repetitive data tasks using SQL, Python, or Excel macros.

Requirements

• 1-3+ years of experience as Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in digital media or content platforms.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio).
• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO metrics is essential.
• Understanding of statistics, data modeling, and analytical techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in simple terms.
• Passion for finance, technology, and AI topics is highly preferred.
