Responsibilities

Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Document code, processes, and updates to ensure future reference and ease of understanding.
Perform unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure the functionality of the application.
Optimize code performance for speed and efficiency, particularly in memory-constrained environments.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of C programming language, data structures, and algorithms.
Familiarity with IDEs and version control systems like Git.
Ability to approach and solve complex programming problems.
Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) for development and testing purposes.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with the team.

Skills

Strong proficiency in C programming and familiarity with C++ is a plus.
Understanding of common data structures like arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs.
Knowledge of memory management, pointers, and memory allocation techniques in C.
Experience in debugging C code using tools like GDB or other debugging techniques.
Proficiency with Git for version control.
Familiarity with frameworks or libraries used in C for app development (e.g., GTK, SDL for GUI development, etc.).
Basic understanding of integrating databases (SQLite, MySQL) with C applications.
Skills in optimizing C code for better performance, especially in mobile or embedded systems.
